Class 6 assembly: Terrible Tudors
Class 6 delivered a fantastic class assembly to pupils, parents and staff. They remembered lots of facts, sang songs, performed and made the audience laugh. Well done Class 6!
Terrible Tudors and Tullie House
On Friday 20th September we spent the day in Carlisle. Firstly, we went to the Sands Centre to watch The Terrible Tudors. We learned loads of facts about the Tudor Monarchs and about what life was like for people during the Tudor Reign.
We then visited Tullie House. There we explored Tudor Artefacts and thought about who would own different objects and what outfits they would wear. We also visited the Guildhall, it was built in 1407 (80 years before the Tudor’s). Here we found out about the buildings history and who used it.
We had a great day!
