We have enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the church celebrating the christening of Baby Annabelle. All the children wore their smartest clothes and played the role of parents, grandparents, Godparents and guests. It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents turn up for the celebrations too, which we continued in class with cake and dancing. What a lovely way to learn about baptism!
Class 4 visited the local church to donate one of our Easter gardens. We talked about what we had learnt about Easter and how we made our Easter gardens to members of the congregation. They were very impressed with our knowledge.
Class 4 enjoyed making their Easter Gardens in the school Eco Area. We used resources we could find and the finished results look fantastic! We can't wait to see what they look like when the grass seeds start to grow. We will be donating one of them to our local church later on this week.
Scouring the school's Eco Area looking for materials to make our Easter Gardens. Keep checking in to see how we get on.
We have been on an Easter hunt searching for all the Easter eggs which contained part of the Easter story. We found all the pieces and sequence then to retell the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
This term we are looking at Places of Worship. First we are going to look at what makes a place special. Come back to see what we think makes a place special!
