Week 1

Week beginning 24/04/17

This week saw the start of our 'Minibeast' topic. We enjoyed a minibeast hunt outside and focused on slugs and snails! We found 3 'pet' snails in the Eco-garden which lived in our classroom all week. We looked after them very well and we were very excited when they came out of their shells to eat the cabbage and cucumber we gave them. We placed them on black sugar paper and watched the silvery trail they left behind as they moved. We put them back very carefully into the Eco-garden at the end of the week!

We were very pleased to welcome 2 new starters into nursery this week.
